You Warm my Heart
Happy Sunday? I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
I was going through some images trying to figure out what I wanted to play with. I decided on this digi from Sew Many. I knew I wanted to make a valentine and I when I saw his cute heart shaped nose I thought it would be fun.
The challenges this card fits are:
KS Stampin N Scrapping - I thought this was a really cute sketch to use and it was!
Lexi's Creations - Valentine - I liked this Valentine that doesn't say Happy Valentine's Day.
Little Red Wagon - Hearts. What is a Valentine card without hearts?
Dare you to Digi - Hearts/Valentine - I think this would be such a cute valentine for kids.
Sew Many - Love - This is my valentine with Tayla.
Polka Doodles - Non traditional valentine - I think this is not traditional because it has a tiger on it and it doesn't say Happy Valentines Day.
Raise the Bar - Old DP - WOW what a great challenge idea. This is some old paper I had in a pile. I forget who makes it.
Totally Gorjuss - Paper piecing. This was a perfect way to tie in the Tiger with the background.
Secret Crafter - Hearts - I was happy when I found these brads. I forgot I had them.
C.R.A.F.T. - Paper Piecing. This was a perfect way to tie in the image with the card
Thanks for stopping by today. Thanks for letting me know what you think of my Valentine.

Young Love
Happy Tuesday! How is everyone doing? We are having nice weather here. It is 41 degrees right now, which is warm considering what it has been and it's not raining or snowing!!
I keep seeing everyone's Valentines day cards and I wondered what I wanted to do. I am not a person who buys alot of "Valentine" things so I went through my stamps and picked this Sugar Nellie image. I won this last year and thought immediately that this would make a cute Valentines Day card. I also have been in the red & pink mood since I got my SU DP last week. This is more paper from the pack. I really love this paper!
It also gave me a chance to use the new buttons from SU and their new punch. I have the corner punch also but I am having a really hard time figuring out the dimensions to use to "punch around the page". If anyone knows a smart person who has figured this out please let me know. I love the punch and would like to use it around images or cards.
The challenges this fits are:
Crafty Cardmakers - Hearts and Romance - I bought this heart punch for $1 from Michaels. It is one of those little things you pick up and use alot. The romance is the kids kissing.
Crafty Catz - Love. Young love is so sweet.
Mojo Monday - Sketch - I keep saying I am going to do one of their sketches and I love this one.
Caardvarks - Red Hearts - I think the little red hearts on this card really makes it.
Practical Scrappers - Designer Paper - All I can say is I love this pack and what would we do without it!
Incy Wincy Designs - Buttons, Bows, Ribbon & Lace - I love all of them so it was easy to work them into this card.
A Spoon Full of Sugar - This is a freestyle challenge. I love this card and wanted this to me my anything for this challenge.
Totally Gorjuss - Add Dimension. I think this card has alot of dimension with the buttons, bows, popped up image.
All Sorts - Hearts and Flowers - I love the little hearts on the side and put the buttons as the middle of the flowers
Thank you for stopping by. I love hearing what you think. Please leave a comment if you like my card!

Wish you were here
Good Morning. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
I love challenges because they can take you out of your comfort zone. I was trying to figure out what to play with yesterday and started going through some challenges to get inspiration. A couple of them where Purple themes. I love purple so I though I would go with that. It turns out coloring and mataching with just purple is hard. I also wouldn't pick this DP without specifically looking for some with mostly purple.
I love this image but need to find a good sassy saying for it. I also couldn't think of anything to print out. The best saying I could find was too large for the card so I went with Wish you were here. I also wish my copics matched a little better but overall I like the way this card came out.
I found the following challenges
Friday Sketches - I always like their sketches.
Sew Many - Purple and White with a touch of black. My touch of black is the buttons and top of boots.
Secret Crafter -Inspiration - the inspiration I got was the color - Purple and White
KL Stampling - Use Nesties or punches. This was easy. I love my nesties that I used for the ovals and the side rectanges. I used an EK success punch for the corners.
Charisma - Fruity Colors - My sister and I were talking about food yesterday, specifically grapes which I kept thinking about while making this card.
Hand full of Stamps - Swirls - I was going to punch some swirls for this card but decided I wanted my swirls to be a little different so I used the pearls to make the swirl.
Allsorts - Hearts and flowers. I bought these prima roses yesterday at my LSS with the last of my gift certificates from XMAS. I had not intended to put a heart on the card but I wanted to fill the blank space in the saying and the small heart fit perfectly.
Daring Cardmakers - What's the point - okay...I love the theme of this challenge and sometimes I get in this wierd corney mood. My points are her hair and the fact that I love how her feet "point" into each other. Sorry if this is too corney but it's the mood I'm in while writing this.
Thank your for stopping by and thank you to everyone who leaves comments. I really love reading them.

A Happy Hello
Good Morning. How is everyone's week going? Other than all the snow we got here it is nice. Today is bright and sunny for a change.
I got my SU shipment the other day and had to make a card with some new paper and punches I got. I love both of them. I had not used this Sugar Nellie stamp in a while and I really like her so I thought I wanted to make a real girley, feminine card with her. I hope you think I succeeded.
Going though the challenges last night I found the following:
Techno Stamper - Sketch - I really loved Mary Jo's sketch this week. Due to the size of my stamp some of the squares turned into rectangles but I think I stayed true to the sketch.
Spoonful of Sugar - Lots of Layers. Is there such a thing as a card without alot of layers? HA HA
Pile it on - Use 3 ribbons - I have the beige bow, the beige lace ribbon and then I ran pink ribbon through the lace. Great idea for a challenge.
Creative Card Crew - Punch it. I do love my punches! I used the new border from SU and MS snowflake punches on the card
Papertake - PINK - The card had to be mostly pink. When I looked at this card I though wow...lots of pink so I laughed when I saw the challenge.
Quixotic - Use an old stamp or one you have not used in a while. I love this stamp and have not inked it up in months.
All Sorts - Pink and Brown - The paper has brown and I colored her fur the dark beige.
Thanks for stopping by. I love to see my visitors. If you like my card please let me know by leaving a comment. I love to read them.

Build a Snowman
Good Morning! It's back to work after the long weekend for me. I didn't get as much stamping done as I thought I would would but did get a chance to make my card for the Sugar Challenge.
This is one of the stamps I got when I won the challenge. I think she is so cute. I should have made this card bigger than 5 x 5 though. I didn't realize how big the image was. This week the challenge was a sketch and distressing. It's hard to see my distressing around the paper but it is there. I love the blue and purple. It's really hard for me to not just pick it up for every card, especially in the winter.
I wanted to add some sparkle so I colored the snowman's hat in shimmerz, glittered the fur around her hood and put stickles on the snowflakes. I pulled out my polar white flower soft for the snow. I bought this a while ago for this purpose but keep reaching for glitter on the snow. I remembered it this time. I like the look.
Well I don't have alot of time today since I am catching up from being off yesterday. I hope everyone has a good day.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you like my many layers of card! Let me know if you do. I love reading your comments.

Think Snow
Actually, I don't want to think Snow. We are getting some tonight and tomorrow. I have tomorrow off of work and I can't (or won't) leave the house. I hate driving in the snow. Other than that my weekend is going well. Yesterday, my sister, niece and I took a road trip. There is a LSS store about 70 minutes away from here that we wanted to go to. There is also a Mall my niece likes so we went to the LSS store, had a nice lunch and then went to the mall. It was fun to spend the day with them and get new goodies. The LSS store was having a sale to prepare for CHA and they have a large selection of Copics cheaper than anywhere around here so what's a gal to do....
While we were in the LSS I saw this circle of snowflakes made by Magnolia. It was expensive even with the sale so I decided not to buy it. When we got in the car my niece opened her purse and pulled out the stamp. She had bought it for me. I love it!!
I don't have a long list of challenges today but this does fit a few.
Stamping for the weekend - I loved this sketch and knew I had to find something to do with it.
Stamp Something - Blue and White - I thought of the new wreath immediately.
Roses on Paper - Winter!! Winter here in the Northeast means SNOW!
Flutter by Wednesday - The theme NEW with butterflies, angels or fairies - My new is my new snowflake stamp and the fairy is my snowflake fairy stamp. I thought this was a really cute theme.
Well this is it for me today! Thank you for stopping by. I hope you like my card. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. I really enjoy reading them.

Be Mine
Good afternoon. It's Friday! YEAH!!
This is my first Valentines Day card. Isn't he adorable!!! His name is Eris the Elephant by Sew Many Cards. I found this free digi last night and had to color him. I love the heart shaped balloons. After I colored them I put Crystal Effects on them. I love Crystal Effects but I hate waiting for it to dry.
My card fits into the following challenges.
Sew Many Cards - Anything Goes - These images are so cute. When I saw Eris I knew I had to make my 1st Valentine card with him.
Dare you to Digi Stamp - Buttons - I thought that buttons would be the perfect addition to this card. They look good with the cute image.
Tuesday Morning Sketches - Buttons and Bows - In addition to the buttons I put ribbon on most of my cards so the bow was a no brainer here.
Cute Card Thursday - Pink and Gray - PERFECT!!! When I saw this image I knew I would be doing this challenge.
Friday Sketchers - The sketch this week worked perfectly with my image.
Crafty Ann's - Embossing - I love embossing!! I put it on so many cards.
Daring Cardmakers - Hole in One - The card needed to have at least one hole in it. Great Idea. Mine is the hearts punch!
Paperplay - Furry Friends - Elephants have fur right?? I think of all animals as being furry friends.
Polka Doodles - Love - This is my first Valentines Day card so it fits with love.
Thank you for stopping by. Let me know what you think of Eris.

Fun in the Snow
Good Morning. I hope everyone is having a good week. Mine has been busy. I started made this card for some challenges but have not had time to finish it since I have been busy and now they are closed. Usually I can find a little time to finish a card but not this week. That's okay because Monday is a holiday so I have a 3 day weekend coming up. YEAH!!
This is a Impression Obsession stamp I bought at my LSS recently. I just thought it was so cute. To me it says Winter! I liked that it wasn't just a lone snowman standing there.
My card fits the following challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers - What's New - My stamp is one of my new winter stamps.
Crafty Creations - 3 Textures - Mine are Glitter, Twinklets and Embossing. I love textures.
Everybody Art - Snowflakes - This was really easy for me. I used my Spellbinders snowflake dies.
Cuttlebug - White theme (Asian if possible). I didn't have any Asian stamps but my card does fit the white theme.
Polka Doodles- Song theme - my card reminds me of Winter Wonderland. Snowball fights and snowman are the 2 things that are fun about the snow.
Lots to Do - The theme is Winter Wonderland and what says winter more than snow!
Stamp with Fun - The theme is snowflakes!!
Crafty Catz - The theme is Bright and Sparkly. With all the glitter and twinklets mine does fit this challenge.
Charisma Cardz - Anything new - My new is my stamp!
I hope everyone has a good rest of the week. If you like my card let me know. I love hearing from you.

Winter Skating
Good Morning everyone. The weekend is here!! I hope everyone has some fun things planned. I am visiting my sister, having my hair cut (wish me luck I am trying a new hairdresser) and I plan on stamping!
This is another stamp I bought from DZ Doodles. I couldn't decide which one I wanted to use for Mary's Birthday card in my Post from Thursday so I bought all 3. I originally colored this in some really pretty greens and then could not find any paper to go with them. When I was looking through the challenges and saw this color combo I thought that this stamp would look great with the colors so I re-did it.
The card fits the following challenges
Crafty Ann's - Use something new - Mine is my new stamp
Creative Card Crew - Distressing. I have not done this in a while and thought it would fit this card well.
Frosted Designs - Ink - Since I use Copics for just about everything this was interesting. I used SU ink pads to add color around the white circle and for the snowflakes.
Charisma Cardz- Color Combo - Pink, Brown, Cream, Toffee. Great Combo IMHO
PaperPlay - Precious Metal - My snowflake tied to the ribbon.
Friday Sketchers - I love their sketches and this one is probably one of my favorites
Thank you for spending some time looking at my card. Please leave a comment if you like it. I really love reading them.

Happy Birthday to Mary
Good Afternoon! It's my sister Mary's Birthday and here is the Outside and Inside of the card I made for her.
Both images for inside and outside are from DZ Doodles. I was trying to figure out what to do for Mary's card and came across some digi stamps from DZ that I thought would be perfect. She loves snowmen and glitter so the images I thought would be good and I used Glitter, Stickles and Twinklet on the card. She uses Blue all the time so I knew the card had to have the color Blue.
I love the outside image with the penguin, snowman and polar bear but I really love the 3 snowmen I put inside. Because these are digi's you can position them anywhere you want. Once I put them where I wanted around the poem, I then cut around them so they would extend beyond the box. I think there is so much you can do with them.
This card also fits some challenges.
Crafty Calendar - Keeping Warm
Everybody Art Challenge - Favorite Color Combo
Forever Friends - Happy Card with 2 layers
ABC Challenge - This week is L is for Layering. I love layering so....
Cute Card Thursday - The theme is New - These are all new stamps!
Thanks for looking at the card I made for Mary.
Let me know what you think. I look forward to reading all the comments. It really makes my day.

Happy 2010
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years Eve.
I had a quiet night. I went to the movies and then dinner with one of my sisters. It was fun. I stopped the hard partying a long time ago. Now I prefer a good meal, a few laughs and some good company.
This was a free digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. I thought he was just too cute and had to color him. I'm glad to see that the wonderful people who have challenge blogs have started up again. I found that this card fits the following
Technostamper - Sketch - This was a great sketch for this card.
Kerry's Thursday Challenge - Goodbye 2009 - How appropriate!
Charisma - Celebrations - Hopefully we can all celebrate that we have a prosperous new year!
Crafty Cardmakers - Favorites of 2009 - Wow this was easy...COPICS....I had a couple in 2008 but really couldn't get a firm handle on how to use them but in 2009 I seemed to have understood them!
Frosted Designs - New Years project - I was glad to see this theme that fit this cute new years image.
Pile it on - Anything Digital - This is a free digi from The greeting farm.
Stamp Something - Use something new. This is my new (but free) Digi stamp
Roses on Paper - Favorite Coloring Medium - This was easy since I can't remember coloring an image without Copics.
I hope everyone has a fun day. I plan on watching the Bruins win today while playing in the Winter Classic (outside at Fenway Park) and maybe do a little coloring!
Thanks for looking at my card. If you like it please leave a message. I love hearing from you.
