Happy New Years Eve!  I hope everyone had a nice Christmas.  Mine was alot of fun.  Now we look forward to the New Year.  I always enjoy the week after Christmas.  I take the week off of work and relax after all the craziness of Christmas.  I always have a list of things I want to get done and I never get them done.  No different this year.  Alot of relaxing.  I have one more day and then back to work. I'm going to enjoy it.

Happy Holidays

Good Morning.  Can you believe Christmas is less than a month away?  I can't.  This weekend I got all my decorations up and I still can't believe it.  I only have a couple more gifts to buy which is good. I then have to clean and prepare to have my family over for Christmas Eve.  I hope to find some time to relax and enjoy the season.

Snow Happy

Good Morning.  Happy Tuesday.  It's hard to believe Christmas is just 6 weeks away.  Thanksgiving is next week.  Time sure does fly.  This time of year is big for professional craft shows around here.  In the last 2 weeks I have been to one in Boston and one in New Hampshire.  I love these things.  People are so talented.  I keep saying I need a bigger house so I can buy more Christmas decorations.

For the next 2 weeks at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we want you to Make it Sparkle!  I love glitter and bling, especially around the holidays so this was the perfect theme!  This card is a little over the top but I do love it.  I'm sure everyone is pulling out those XMAS and snow stamps. Happy Thanksgiving

Good Morning!  I hope everyone had a good weekend and their week is going well.  I had a fun weekend.  Saturday I spend the day making cards which is always fun and Sunday I relaxed.  I got a big project done yesterday for work so today I am back to normal work load for a few weeks which is good.  I can't believe we are already into November and the holidays are right around the corner.  I started my XMAS shopping last week! Yeah!  One present done.  LOL!

Beautiful Autumn

Good Morning.  Happy Tuesday.  It's hard to believe it is Fall here.  While it is cool at night, it is still hot during the day.  I still have all my windows open.  I love this!!  Good sleeping weather and the humidity is gone so the heat is tolerable during the day.   I know it is Fall because all the leaves are changing colors.  I love driving down the roads and seeing all the different colors.

For the next 2 weeks we have a challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations that some people might find difficult.  Do you like to cut things out?  I usually don't but I find myself doing it alot more these days.  We want you to cut something out (die cuts don't count).  I decided to use this Sugar Nellie image.  I cut out her Dress, Hat, Arm, Bow and Hedgehog and then popped them up.  I really like the way this came out.  You don't have to pop up whatever you cut out but I thought it would add the right amount of dimension to the card.

Happy Fall

Good Morning.    I hope your week is going well.  I am back to work after a week off and I am really busy.  I love vacations but coming back and trying to get caught up is not fun.  I had so much fun in Maine.  The weather was beautiful, the spa was great and we got some shopping in of course.  All in all a great week.

At Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we are thinking Fall. Too Cute

Good Morning.  I hope your week is going well.  We had a gorgeous weekend.  It was dry and in the 80's Saturday and 70's on Sunday.  I love this time of year.  I noticed driving down the street this weekend that one of my trees is starting to change colors!  Next week my sister and I are going to a Spa in Maine for 4 days.  I hope we have this kind of weather.  We shop at the outlets in the morning and have a spa treatment every afternoon.  A really fun and relaxing time especially if the weather is like this.  The spa is right on the ocean so any spare time we have we can just sit and watch the water.  I really look forward to this every year.

For the next 2 weeks at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we are thinking Polka Dots!  Make a card or project with polka dots and join the fun.  I love polka dots.  This card was so fun.  I love this image.  These are not my "normal" colors but I love them together.

Good Morning.  I can't believe I am already making a Back to School card.  This means that there is very little time left for summer.  I have mixed emotions about it.  I don't like the heat and humidity but I do love everything else about the summer.  I also am looking forward to the Fall.  I love the changing of the leaves and the cooler weather.

Beautiful Day

For those who follow me, yes it is Thursday.  I am taking today and tomorrow off of work and wanted to post this card I made last weekend when I got together with my stamping friends.  This is a Lacy Sunshine stamp.  I had never worked with this company before and they are so cute!!!  I had so much fun coloring her.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend.  I am doing a little shopping with my sister, some crafting and relaxing.  Just the kind of weekend I like!

You Make Me Smile

Good Morning.  I hope everyone had a nice weekend.  I got together Saturday with a friend for a mini Lobster bake.  I don't get to see this friend often so it is nice to catch up and eat Lobster! Sunday I was busy crafting!  My nephew's Birthday is next week and I worked on his card then I made this card for today.  My house is a mess but my cards are made so who cares!

This week at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we not only have a fun challenge, we have a sponsor.  As you can tell by my card we are being sponsored by Sherry Baldi!!   I just LOVE her stamps.  They are so much fun to color and they just couldn't be cuter.  She is offering the winner of this challenge 5 free digi's!  I can't win them but you can!   The theme this week is easy.  It is Girls Just Want To Have Fun.  What is more fun than spending time with people who make you smile.

Somebunny Loves You

Good Morning.  I hope you had a nice weekend.  I went to Boston with my sister and my niece to celebrate my nieces Birthday. Then we dropped my niece at home and went to my nephew's graduation party.  It was a long day but fun.

Christmas in July

I know it is strange to see me post on a Sunday but I made a Christmas Card and wanted to post it. I didn't get as much done on my vacation as I wanted but had a good one anyway.  It was so hot though.  With the heat indexes it hit over 100 degrees a couple of days.  I am not a fan of this really hot and humid weather so I got real lazy and stayed in the air conditioning.   I go back to work tomorrow so the relaxing is over.   Back to reality.

For some reason I couldn't get a great picture of this card.  It looks better IRL.  I love this cute image of the mouse.  I won this a while ago but I apologize that I can't find who's image it is to put in the post.

Vacation

Good Morning!  I hope you are having a good week.  I am on vacation this week which is why I am posting late.    I spent the last few days up in NH at Lake Winnepesake.    It was alot of fun but very HOT.   I don't mind it warm but it is really too hot for me.  Unfortunately it is going to be like this all week.    I am home now and will spend the rest of the week doing anything where there is AC!!

Smile!

Good Morning.  If you live in the US then it is likely a short week for you.  I am happy to have a 4 day weekend coming up.  I have plans to go to a little seaside artist community on the 4th.  My sister, niece and I go every year and have alot of fun.  The only problem this year it's suppose to be really hot and humid.  I am not a fan of really hot and humid especially when I am doing alot of walking but we will have fun anyway.  The rest of the weekend is open right now but I don't care if I just spend the days making cards.  I have alot of Birthday's coming up and need to get working on those.

Happy 4th of July
