My Heart Belongs to You


Good Morning.  Hope everyone is having a good week.  I had a nice relaxing weekend because this week is always a busy one for me at work.  I got some crafting and cleaning done.  I also found some time for a little online shopping. 


As anyone knows who follows me, I am not a primary color person. I like the pastel Blue's, Pink's and Purples so this weeks challenge over at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations was fun for me.  This week we have a color challenge.  We want you to use Red, Pink & Black on your card.  I love this stamp from Saturated Canary and I knew it would be perfect for this weeks challenge.

First Valentine...

Good Morning!  Hope everyone is well.  We had 2 day's with snow this past week.  Friday we had a couple inches and Saturday we had a bigger storm. There wasn't alot of snow (~5 inches) but there were accidents everywhere on the roads.  Unfortunately this was the day a bunch of friends were getting together to stamp.  I was packed, had put my stuff in the car and then I sat watching the snow.  We finally decided to postpone.  It was disappointing but I don't like driving in the snow and I know I would be worried about getting in an accident so it was for the best. 

Today is Tuesday so that means another great challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.  Today we have a sketch.  I don't know about you but I am always looking for new layouts.  I had to modify this a little because I couldn't make a triangle but I think (hope) I stayed true to the sketch.

Happy Birthday Mary!






Good Morning!  How is your week going?  Mine is really fun.  Saturday I spend shopping with Mary, Kristen, Pia and Michelle.  Next to coloring and making cards, what could be more fun than shopping!!  I keep saying I am not going to buy more paper but I came home with 3 packs of 6 x 6 and some 12 x 12.  I couldn't help it.  They are so pretty. Of course, I can't seem to shop without buying a new die and misc embellishments.  You will see some of my new purchases in the coming weeks!!

Today we have a challenge theme at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations that was so easy for me!!  We want you to make a card with Die Cuts!   I really don't know what we did without them!  I decided to use the card I made for my sister Mary's Birthday last week.  I used my memory box and spellbinder dies for her card.  The flowers I cut out and popped up to give it more dimension.

Happy New Year

Good Morning!  How is 2012 going for you so far? Do you have all your Xmas decorations put away?  I am happy to say that my year is going well so far and I have everything put away.  Life back to normal. I am slowly pulling out my card making supplies and my room looks well used already! 


Today at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we have a very easy and, at least for me, fun challenge.  We want Glitter on your project!!   You can't see mine well but I have the champagne glittered on my card and my blue flowers have glitter on them.  I love glitter!!  I can't wait to see what you glitter.

Something Old/Something New

Happy New Years everyone!!  I hope everyone had a fun Christmas and New Year.   My week was very busy so I didn't get everything done that I had hoped to but it was nice to have time off from work to spend with family.  I have another week off in January and hope to get more stamping done on that vacation.


Now that the Holiday's are behind us we are back to the weekly challenges with Going Grey with Scrap-Creations . I am glad to get started again.  To start off the new year we have a fun and easy challenge.  The theme is Something Old and Something New.  We all have that stash that we say we are going to use and we all have those new stamps/paper/die cuts that we had to have or got for Christmas.  We are asking that you use both on your project.  Most of my card is old but I used one of my new stamps from Saturated Canary.  These are so much fun to color.

Also we are going to be looking for 2 new DT's at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.  Do you want to join the fun?  We have a great group of people and it is a pleasure to be part of this challenge every week.  Kristen will be posting the requirements tomorrow so if you want to join us please watch for her announcement.
