Let Your Light Shine Through

Good Morning.  How is everyone today?  We have been having some really cold and rainy weather here.  We have not seen the sun in days.  Sunday I spent at a yard sale my LSS store had.  Mary and I shared a table and tried to sell some stamps & stuff we don't use anymore.  We did okay.  We wanted to leave with nothing but I am happy I did sell some stuff.  I am now on a mission to organize.  I just need to find the time.

I had so much fun making this card.  I love the teal color and I was itching to use some of the things I bought at the Convention last week.  Isn't this new heart die great from Cheerylynn Designs?  I love all the little hearts and the great thing is that the middle heart is separate so you can stamp on it and put it back like I did with this.  I used one of my new Rubberstamp Tapestry sets to add the flowers.  I also used some of my new ribbon!

Today we have a real easy challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.  The theme is Anything Goes and the the sponsor is Kenny K!!!   I love Kenny K images.  They are fun images to color and to use!  Grab those cards you are posting and play with us!  You could win some of his images.  What is greater than that!!

The other wonderful challenges this card fits are:

Bearly Mine - Anything Goes
Kenny K. - Use Favorite Colour

My Mums Craft Shop - Punch It

There's always something to sing about

Happy Sunday!  I hope everyone is having a good weekend.  For me it is the start of a week off of work!! YEAH!!  It has been crazy at work lately so I am looking forward to a week of relaxation.  I hope to get some images colored, cards made, and some stuff done around the house that I have been neglecting.   Of course I started with the card making, not the getting things done around the house.  Yesterday I had a funeral to go to and when I got home I couldn't get motivated to do anything so I started viewing You Tube video's to make your own flowers.  The flower on this card was from one of the video's.  I wanted to use some images I have bought that have not been made into a card yet.  This Kenny K image is one of them.  I really like his images and couldn't wait to color her.

The challenges this card fits are:

Kenny K - Bold and Bright - I love the bright pinks and blues on this card.

Fab & Funky - Use Favorite Colors - I love blues and pinks.  I really like the bright ones on this card.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch - I think that this worked well with the papers and image.

Pixie Dust Studio- Pretty in Pink - Most of the card needs to be pink and I have alot of pink on my card.

The Beary Scrap - Stitches - I love faux stitching.  I put it on the pin and blue DP's to add some white to the card.

Craftalicious - Pearls & Swirls - I have the pearls on the corners, of the pink & blue DP and I put a big pearl in the middle of my flower.

I Did It - Anything Goes - I love when someone picks this theme!

If the Shoe Fits - Die Cuts - I love my spellbinders!  I used the ovals and the circles on this card.

All Sorts - Paper piercing or piecing - I chose piercing to give my faux stitching a more realistic look

Crazy for Challenges - Music - This little lady is listening to her ipod.

My Partner in Crafting Crime - Teens or Tweens - What teenager doesn't walk around around with an ipod of some sort stuck in their ears.

Paper Romance - Pink & Bling - 2 things I love!  My bling are the pearls and glitter on the flower and I used hot pink as my main color on this card.

Thank you for stopping by and looking at my card!  I hope to be able to post more this week.  Thanks to everyone who leaves comments.  I love reading them and appreciate all the nice things people have to say.

Peggy.

Kenny K!!!!  If you have not seen his images you really need to check them out.  They are fun and creative!  Last week I posted the Baseball player by Kenny K for my brothers Birthday card and today I am posting this card made with one of his Glam Gang images.  He just released his Goth series this weekend.  They are so cool.

The other wonderful challenges this card fits are:

Happy Birthday Bobby

It's my brothers Birthday next week and he is a huge sports fan so I choose this stamp from Kenny K for him.
I love these stamps!!!  They have alot of sports so there is something for everyone!  I, like so many other people, have problems making cards for men.  My next Birthday card is for my Nephew who is all grown up now.  I have no idea what I am doing for him because his mother is already using the Kenny K stamp for him.  I guess Mothers trump Aunts.

I colored him red because my brother, like me, is a Red Sox fan.  I didn't know what to do about coloring under his feet so I thought I would try to draw home plate. I then thought it looked to white so I found some sand I bought at a convention and I put that on it.  It made the entire image very long but I like the way it came out.

The challenges this card fits are:

Cowgirl Sunday - Anything Goes - I love these especially for male cards because there is no glitter pearls and bows....

Stamp Scrap & Doodle - Digi - I love my digi's.  All Kenny K's stamps are digi's so you can buy, download and color!

Incy Wincy Designs - Sketch - I didn't think I would find a sketch to use with this image so I was thrilled when I checked this one out.  It works perfectly.

Stamp with Fun - Card for Boys or Men - This is my brothers birthday card.

Stamping B - Birthday card - I have alot of birthday's coming up.  This is my 2nd one in a week.

Dutch Dare - Anything Goes - YEAH!  I love these!!

Hanna & Friends - Favorite Movie - I love so many Baseball movies, Angels in the Outfield, Bull Durham...I could go on.

Paperplay - Anything Goes-  Yippee - another easy challenge!

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you like the card for my brother.  Thanks to everyone who leave me comments.  I love all of them!
