Good Morning. I hope everyone had a nice weekend. One of the things I did was to make this card. I had this image colored and loved the way it came out. I knew I had to make a card with it before it got mixed in with other things and ended up getting ruined. I also wanted to use my new Prima paper. It is so delicate and pretty. It is definitely my kind of paper. I wanted to create a really soft and girly card. I hope you like how this came out as much as I do.
I would like to add to any followers or visitors today from Japan that my thoughts are with you. I work for a Japanese company and my boss, his boss and some other friends were in Japan last week. I work with alot of Japanese here and overseas. My heart breaks when I see the images on TV. Mother Nature can be cruel and I am sorry you are going through this.
The wonderful challenges this card fits are:
Lili of the Valley - Flowers - As you can see there are flowers everywhere on this card.
Little Claires - Flowers - I have flowers on my DP and around my image
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle - Spring has Sprung - It is wonderful when the snow melts off the swings and you can go out and enjoy the day.
Our Daily Bread - Leather or Pearls - I wanted a really soft feminine card so pearls were necessary IMHO
Our Craft Lounge - Bling - There are pearls, glitter and I added a couple of glitterly sprigs to the flowers.
Fairy Tale - Something for a child or an image of a child - These 2 kids swinging is just so adorable. I loved coloring this image.
Crafty Ann's - Sketch and/or Spring - I choose Spring. I think this image of the kids enjoying the swing is a great spring image.
Digi Doodle's Shop Best - Pearls - I love pearls. I think they are a perfect accent for this card.
Pals Paperarts - Inspiration - The picture for this was flowers and my card has alot of flowers on it.
Pixie - Thank you for Being You - Sending a card to a Friend wishing them a Day full of Happiness is a wonderful way of thanking them for being who they are.
Stamping B's - Bling - I have my pearls, my glitter and my shiny sprigs as my bling
Crafty Sentiments - Just for you - I think wishing someone a day of happiness is a great card to send just for you.
DYSU - Layers - I love layers and I have many on this card between all the CS, DP & Image
Rainbow Ladies - Best Friends - Who else would you share a swing ride with?
The Rubber Cafe - Favorite Die - There are many on this card. My scallops, circles, rectanges and the one I used to cut out my image.
Southern Girls - Use Flowers - I love my roses. I would use these on every card if I could.
Fab & Funky - Girly - I knew I wanted to create a soft looking Girly card with this image. I hope you think I did too
For Fun - Spring - Kids playing outside without their winter coats does say spring where I live.
ABC Challenge - P=Pearls - I love pearls. I had my pearls out before this card was even put together.
Simon Says - Anything Goes - I love these challenges. My card always fits.
Cupcake Inspirations - This weeks cupcakes are pink Green and white which is the dominant colors of my card
Aly's Sunday - Anything Goes - These themes are great!!
One Stitch at a Time - Glitter & Gems - I have glitter on the flower that are on the DP. I have the pearls as my gems
Stamping Sisters in Christ - Use something you treasure - Wow....on this card there is so much. The image, the flowers and the DP are just some of the few things when I look at this card.
Stamptacular - Great Sketch! I cut a seperate piece of DP with the corner flowers so for my corners and I had to cut the rectangle because I couldn't fit my image on a circle but I thought this was a great sketch to use.
Catch the Bug - Scallops - I love my circle scallops because when you don't have alot of room you can twist them and still have 2 colors behind your saying or image.
I Did It - Masking - I masked the image to make my clouds on this card.
Ladybug Crafts - Spring Colors - I love the soft colors of this card. It reminds me Spring is around the corner.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you like my card. Thank you to everyone who leaves a comment. I appreciate all of them.
