Be Merry!!!

Happy Tuesday!!  Can you believe Thanksgiving is over and we have less than a month until XMAS??  WOW....I have so much to do....and while I know I will get everything done, I look at all my weekends and wonder how.  I hope everyone in the States had a good Thanksgiving weekend.  Mine was really full.  I had family functions all weekend long.  Usually I spend this weekend putting out my XMAS decorations but it didn't get done because all my family things were in the middle of the day and so I didn't have enough time.

Today is Tuesday so it is the Going Grey with Scrap Creations challenge!  We have a really easy challenge, Anything Goes!! and a great sponsor this week, Digi's with Attitude!   They were kind enough to give us some images to play with but I really liked this Freebie they gave last week so I decided to use this.  To see some of their other wonderful images you really need to check out what the other DT's did.  You can find their links on my sidebar.

The other wonderful challenges this card fits are:

Crafts and Me - Snowflakes - I love putting snowflakes on my cards and this one is no different.

Fab and Funky - Going with the Flow - Love the theme name!  This means anything goes and my card fits that!

For Fun - Anything Goes - Another great theme!

Little Red Wagon - Basic Grey - My DP on this card is from BG.  I do love their paper!!

House that Stamps Built - Sketch - Perfect for what I wanted to do.  I didn't want the Santa head really big so this was perfect.

Alota Rubber Stamps - Let's Celebrate XMAS - Yes!  I hope if I get alot of the things I need to do done in the next couple of weeks then I will have time to relax and celebrate.

Digi Doodle's Shop Best - Red & Green - How can you really do a Santa card and not make it red & green??

Paperplay - Stars - My Red DP on the stripes have little stars on them.  I thought it was great with the background DP

Stamping B - Holiday Cards - This reminds me that while I am making XMAS cards, my cards to send to family and friends are not done yet.  Oh No....adding to my list of things to do.

Crafty Catz - XMAS - I do enjoy making XMAS cards. I just love all the images out there and this is no exception.

Paper Cutz - Anything Goes - My card is perfect for this challenge.  LOL

Simple Doodles - Buttons - I wanted something to put in the middle of my snowflakes and found these small buttons.  I love it.

Challenge up your Life - St Nick!  - What would XMAS be without him.

Ellephantastic - Red & Green - Yes it is XMAS when I use alot of Red & Green on my cards...

Marks Finest Papers - Bow - I needed something to put on the stripes.  I thought the gold bow fit perfectly.

Sweet Stampin - Buttons and Bows - I have the buttons on my snowflakes and the bow on the strip of paper.

Our Daily Bread - Snowflakes - The Create Joy saying seemed to be long in the circle and I think the snowflakes add just enough to fill the space.

I Did It - Surprise Me - Great theme name!   My Santa card is my surprise!

Scrappy Frog - Christmas - This is my 1st card this year with Santa!  I can't believe it.

Thank you for stopping by and looking at my card.  I hope you like it.  Thanks to everyone who leaves a comment.  I love reading them.

Let it Snow

Good Morning.  I can't believe it is Tuesday again....These weeks are flying by.  It's also a short work week for me due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.  I am looking forward to the 4 day weekend.

Since it is Tuesday it is time for another Going Grey with Scrap-Creations challenge.  This one was right up my alley....Blue & White or Silver.    I love these colors!!!  Of course, these colors say Snow....Snowman...Snowflakes to me so I decided to do them all. I also used some new mica chips I bought when I took the Melissa Frances class.  They give the card a light and airy look.  This is the first time I used them and I put a little too much on but I do like them and will be using them again.

Scrap it with a Song - Winter Wonderland - With all the snowflakes and mica chips on my card it is a winter wonderland.

Digital Tuesday - Let it Snow - Okay but only on my cards LOL!!

Good Morning.  How is everyone doing? When does it really hit you that XMAS is coming soon?  I know the holiday season is approaching because I went to my first craft fair this weekend.  Two of my sisters, my niece and I go into Boston every year to go to this.  There are so many talented people out there and this is a big fair with everything from Jewelry, XMAS decorations and Food to buy.  I actually got 2 XMAS presents bought!!!  I am so glad I have started.  We have many more fairs to go to and we always enjoy the day.  It really says to me that XMAS is approaching.

Autumn

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.

Today's theme for Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is a great one!  Use you favorite technique.  There are so many great techniques out there.  I chose Masking.  Not only did I mask the image for the clouds but I used my masking tape to make the plaid background.  I have not done this for a while and forgot how fun it was.  I also embossed the red and blue CS which is another technique.  I used the cuttlebug folder for the blue and used my score buddy to make the design on the red.

In addition to a fun theme we have a great sponsor this week.  The Craft Room Door!  You can win a 1 year subscription to this wonderful magazine.  How cool is that!!

So think Technique and play with us!

The other wonderful challenges this card meets are:

Digi Doodle's Shop Best - Anything Goes - I do love this theme!!

Polka Doodles - Autumn - I am going to enjoy the rest of this season.  It isn't going to last much longer.

Raise the Bar - Go Go Go - Wheels - I loved this Sassy Chery Wheelbarrel stamp.  What better way to carry all those pumkins!

Our Daily Bread - Sparkle or Dies or Texture - I am using Dies and Texture - I used my die cuts for all the circles and rectangles.  My Texture is my ribbon and embossing.

Pixie Cottage - Sketch - I really liked this sketch and wanted to make it work with my card.  I hope you think I did.

Creative Inspirations Paint - The Pumkin Patch - This is a new challenge for me and the theme fits my card perfectly!!
