Wedding

Good Afternoon.  How is everyone's weekend going?    It continues to be hot here.  I can't wait for the first day where I can say it is cool and dry here.

My Niece is getting married in a couple of weeks and I made this card for her.  Her bridesmaids are wearing Navy so I wanted to incorporate that into the card.  I usually have a problem making mostly white cards but with my Fiskars punch and cuttlebug embossing folders this card was easy.  I used Shimmer paper to add shine to the card.  I used a saying from TLC.  They have the most wonderful sayings and fonts.  I really like the way this came out.  I couldn't get a really good picture of it though.  This is the best one of the many that I took.

The other wonderful challenges this card fits are:

Paper Sundaes - White plus one other color -  I like the elegant way this card came out using mostly white and the navy adds great contrast.

Bee Crafty- 3D - I can't even count how many pop dots I have on this card to make it stand out!

Incy Wincy Designs - Punches - I used my new fiskars heart punch on this card and my spellbinders dies (considered punches?) for the flowers.

The Shabby Tea Room - Embossing - I have alot of embossing on this card.  I did the square, the oval and the flowers.

Creative Card Crew - Die Cuts - I used my spellbinders dies to cut the flowers and the oval on this card

Stamping B's - Polka Dots - I used my polka dot embossing folder on the Oval and the Flowers.

All Sorts - Heart as the focal point - I hope my card fits this.  I love my new heart punch.  This card would not be as pretty if I didn't have that to frame the inside.  I also put the hearts hanging from the saying to add a little silver to the card.

KL Stamping - Dry Embossing - I have always loved dry embossing even before the folders.  I just love how the folders make it so easy!!!

Pile it on - Favorite things - Wow.....I used Pearls, Ribbon, Punches, Embossing folders & Flowers on this card.  All of these are my favorite things!!

Little Red Wagon - Nesties - I love my nesties!  I used the oval the the flower nesties on this card.

I Did it - Special Occasions card - I think a Wedding card fits into this category!!

Thanks you for stopping by.  I hope you like my card.  Thanks to everyone who leaves comments.  I really appreciate all of them.

Peggy

This card is so elegant and pretty! I'm sure your niece and her fiance are going to love it. The white on white is lovely, and incorporating her color of navy is a great idea. I love all the embossing and layering and fancy edging. Thanks for sharing this with us in the Tea Room.
