Have an Ice Day

Good Morning!  I hope everyone is having a good weekend.  Yesterday my sister, niece and I went to a LSS to spend a GC we had.  In November they had a promotion that for every $1 you spent on full price items you got 50% back in a GC to spend in January.  I bought some stuff for my brother to give me for XMAS and yesterday I went and spent my GC.  I then came home and took a nap.  I am still trying to get over this awful cold I have and it wears me out.  I am on antibiotics but they seem to be slow working.  I guess it is better than having the Flu that is going around.

Last weekend I spend the day stamping with friends.  We have so much fun.  I really look forward to these days.  I finally finished one of the cards I started last weekend and wanted to get it posted.

Let it Snow

Happy New Year!!!   It's the first day of 2013.   Hard to believe.  I hope everyone had a good Holiday.  I had a great Christmas, then got sick the day after with a nasty cold which had me down and out for 5 days.  It was a bummer because I had taken the time off of work to get alot of things done and got none of it done.  I didn't finish getting my Christmas decorations down until yesterday and that is usually done the day after Christmas.

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is starting up their challenges for the new year with a change.  We are going to a Bi-Weekly challenge.  The 1st Challenge is to use something New.  Did you get something new for Christmas or did you get a gift certificate and buy yourself something new?  My card is made with 2 new things.  One is the Mo's image and the other is my snowflake circle.

Let It Snow

Happy Tuesday!  Are you having a good week.  It is a short work week for most of us in the US.  I actually have 3 days off this week.  It will be busy though.  Thursday is Thanksgiving which I will be celebrating with Family, Friday I am going to a craft faire, Saturday I am going to one of our LSS for a sale they are having (maybe buy a few XMAS presents for me?) and I will be putting out my XMAS decorations on Sunday.  Then, of course, I need to do some XMAS shopping.


This week at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we are thinking SNOW!  Make a card or project that features Snow.  I love making snowman cards.  They require glitter and bling, 2 of the things I love!!  I know everyone has snow stamps, so pull them out and play with us.

Good Morning.  I hope your week is going well.  Did you have a good weekend?  I did.  Saturday my sister, niece and I went to a crafts faire.  They are really big around here this time of year and we could go to one every weekend if we wanted.  We have one more big one Thanksgiving weekend.  It is amazing how creative and talented people are.

Happy Holidays

Good Morning.  I hope everyone is having a good week so far.  I hope that if you lost your electricity due to the storm last week you have it back now.  I know someone who didn't get it back until late Sunday and someone else who is still waiting for electricity.  It's getting cold here and not good if you don't have anywhere to go to get warm.

Warm Winter Wishes

I hope it is a good morning where you are.  I know I am posting late this week.  It is because of the Storm that hit the East Coast.  I was really nervous Monday that I was going to lose my electricity for days again.  I lost it Monday afternoon and thought this was it.  I woke up yesterday and saw lights!!  I was so happy!!  I was so preoccupied with it Monday I didn't get alot done at work so I started early yesterday and didn't stop until last night.  I still have some catching up to do today but I consider myself very lucky.  There are still alot of people in town without electricity and I work with some people that won't have theirs back for 7-10 days.

This week at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we have an easy and fun challenge.  POP IT UP!  Make a card or project with something on it Popped up.  I love pop dots.  I think I use them on every card.
