Merry Christmas

I hope everyone here in the states had a fun, relaxing and safe Thanksgiving weekend.  It was so nice to have 4 days off but they went by in a blur.  I spent Thanksgiving with family, Friday, 2 sisters and my niece spent the day at another craft fair, and Saturday and Sunday I spent putting out my Christmas decorations.  I still can't believe that it is that time again!

Speaking of Christmas this week the challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is to make a Christmas Card!!   How easy is that!!!   We all have Christmas or Winter images that work great for Holiday cards.

Happy Tuesday!  Are you ready for Thanksgiving?  Hard to believe it is 2 days away!!

This week Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is saying Thank You!  We want to thank all our followers for supporting us and thank all the friends we have made while enjoying this wonderful craft.  This is the time to make a Thank You card and give it to someone you know.  I thought that I would make a XMAS card to say thanks to someone who makes my holidays fun.   The list is long of who I might give it to but I thought it would be a different kind of Xmas card.

Happy Thanksgiving

Good Morning.   How is everyone doing?  I am busy.  I am really busy at work (which is good), I am trying to get Xmas shopping done so I am not out at the last minute,  at this time of year there are crafts fairs every weekend which I really can't miss and I still don't have my xmas cards done!

It is Tuesday so that means another wonderful challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations!  This week we want you to make a Thanksgiving card.  I don't have alot of Thanksgiving images and I really wasn't in the mood to color a Turkey so I found this great image at  Saturated Canary Designs.  Isn't she adorable?  Once the card was done I tried to add Happy Thanksgiving but unless I made it so small you couldn't read it I just couldn't seem to fit it on the card so I chose one of my favorite sentiment stamps that I believe says the same thing.  In Everything Give Thanks is what Thanksgiving is about.

Snowflake Kisses

Good Morning!  Happy Tuesday.  I hope everyone had a good weekend.  Unlike last weekend mine was uneventful which was really nice.  Saturday, 2 of my sisters, my niece and I went into Boston to attend the Craft Festival they have every year.  We had alot of fun and I got some Xmas shopping done which is great.
Sunday, the town I live in had Halloween which was canceled due to the storm. 

This week we have a really easy challenge over at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.  This week we want you to make a project having the Sentiment as the main focus.  This gave me a great chance to use alot of my dies.  I used the snowflake border die from Memory box, the individual snowflakes from My Favorite Things and the corner sizzix die I have been eyeing and finally got on clearance at Michaels.  I was in the mood to use glitter as you can tell.  Get out those sentiment stamps you have and play along!!!

Autumn Beauty

Good Morning! For me it is a very Great morning!  We had a snow storm here in the Northeast US last Saturday.  All in all it would not be something to write about but since it is still Autumn here the leaves had not fallen off the trees so with the added weight of the snow it was a disaster.  Tree's fell and Branches cracked off.  This caused a major electrical issue and I, unfortunately, was one of the people who suffered.  I lost my electricity Saturday around 7:00 PM and didn't get it back until last night about 5:30 PM.  Not only was it cold (Wed AM I woke up and it was 28 degrees) I had to throw out all the food in my fridge, didn't have hot water for showers, and since I work from home I spent all week bringing my computer and cell phone to relatives homes, local wifi spots (most of which were closed due to also not having power).  Since there were so many people suffering as I was everyplace (including the relatives) was mobbed and crazy.  It was so nice to watch TV last night, not having to sleep with many blankets and in warm clothes, have a nice hot shower and have coffee waiting for me.  The company I work for is happy to have me back putting more time in working than running around trying to find someplace to log in.  All in all a wonderful morning!!!!!

Since any internet time I could find had to be spent working I was not able to post my card for this weeks challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.  The theme this week is Pumpkins!  I love this stamp.  It looks like a beautiful table decoration for the upcoming Thanksgiving holidays.

Spooky Birthday

Happy Tuesday.  I hope you had a great weekend.  I got together with some stamping friends and had a blast.  We spent the day making cards, eating and laughing.  It was a great escape!! 

I don't know about you but I love digi stamps and paper.  They are easy to use, don't take up space in my craft room and are convenient.   This made this weeks challenge over at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations so much fun for me.  All you need to do is make something using a digi stamp and digi paper.   I used a stamp from Make it Crafty and the paper is from Barely Mine.

Enjoy Your Day

Good Morning!  I hope you are having a good week.  It is beautiful here but getting rainy tomorrow.  It is extremely busy at work but I am looking forward to Saturday when I am getting together with friends to make cards.  It is always a fun day and a great way to end the week.

Going Grey with Scrap Creations has a really easy challenge this week.  Your challenge is to make a tag.  I never seem to make these so it was challenging and fun.  I chose this scarecrow stamp because I love all the different colors you can use to color it.  I am happy with the way it turned out.  I hope you like it too.
