Happy Day

Good Morning.  I hope you are having a good week.  Mine is very busy.  I was on vacation last week so I am still trying to catch up at work.  Hopefully I can get alot done today and the rest of the week will be normal busy.  That being said, my vacation was wonderful.  I went to a spa with my sister for 4 days and then spent the rest of the week getting things marked off my To Do list.   It was a great time away.

This week at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we want you to make a card with food on it.  I used this Lili of the Valley stamp.  I think this is adorable.  Get out those stamps that make us want to eat and join the fun!

Autumn Fun

Good Morning.  Did you have a good weekend?  I did.  Nice and relaxing.  I got a little crafting done, ran errands,  and pulled out my suitcases for my vacation next week.  I am going to a beautiful spa for 4 days and I can't wait!!   It is going to be so much fun. 

Speaking of fun.  We have a great theme for this weeks challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.  It is called Pick 3.  You need to incorporate 3 items from the following list when making your project.  Ribbon, Pearls, Red, Die Cut/Punches, Glitter, Distress, Embossing, Buttons, Paper Piecing, Blue.  I used Ribbon, Pearls and Die Cuts on my card.

Gossip Ladies

Good Morning.  I hope everyone here in the US had a nice holiday weekend.  It was really nice to have 3 days off.  I did work for some of the weekend but I am glad I did it because today I will have a much nicer day because I won't have to roll out of bed and work for 7 straight hours working on excel spreadsheets.  The rest of the weekend was really nice and relaxful so that was fun.

Today at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we have a fun challenge.  The theme is Humor.  We want you to make a project that makes us laugh!  I chose one of my IE stamps.  I love these 3 old ladies chatting over tea.  The sayings you can put with them are endless.

Make A Wish

Good Morning.  Hope your week is going well.  Can you believe it is the end of August?  I was driving down my road the other day and notice the leaves have started changing!  I can't wait!!   I hope we have a long fall season.  This weekend I made my first Fall card! 

This week at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations we want you to make a card with the theme "Off the page".  As long as your project has something that is off the page you can play!!  I still am trying to use colors that are not my norm.  I love this color combo but had a really hard time taking a picture of it. I finally ventured outside so see if it would be washed out.  It is better than the inside one's but still does not show the real colors of the card.

Back to School

Good Morning.  Can you believe it is the end of August already?  I actually shut my AC off for the first time in over a month and love it!!!  I personally can't wait for Fall. I love opening my windows and enjoying the nice weather.  

Along with the end of the summer comes sending the kids back to school.  This week at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations the theme is just that.  Back to School!   I used this Saturated Canary Stamp that I love and helps a great cause.  Krista is letting you take this and another adorable stamp for free and asking that, only if you can, donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  It is not mandatory but it is a great cause and you get some wonderful stamps.  To read all about it and get the free digi's visit Krista's Blog.

Happy 1st Birthday!

Good Morning.  Hope you had a good weekend.  Mine was uneventful which was great.  The weather was hot, humid and rainy.  A perfect weekend to relax in the AC and make a card. 

 Lately I have been trying to change up some of the standard Pink, Blue and Purple colors that I have been using. I get into these ruts where I use the same colors and layouts all the time.   I found this DP and thought it would be perfect for this stamp and to mix things up.   I like the way it turned out.  It fits in perfect for this weeks challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.   We want you to make a card or project for a child.  So get out those cutesie stamps and play along!

Happy Birthday Nicole

Good Morning!  I hope you are having a good week.  I had last week off and had meetings Monday and spent Tuesday and Wednesday catching up so I am late in posting this week.  Any free time I found has been spent watching the Olympics.  It's funny how caught up in it I get.  I watch things that I would never stop and watch other times.  It is always exciting to see how talented these people are.
