Spring Fever

Good Morning!  How is everyone!  Everything here is good.  The weather seems to be getting better.  Yesterday we hit 49 degrees.  Later this week it will happen again!  It doesn't look like much of the snow melted but I'm sure we made some progress it is just hard to tell because there is so much of it.

Speaking of Spring.....The theme for this week at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is Thinking of Spring!  We have the most wonderful sponsor also...Bugaboo Stamps!  If you have not been there you need to go and check them out.  They have the cutest stamps for every occasion.  This is one of them and I just love her.  She was so much fun to color.  Time to dust off all those Spring stamps and play!

Happy Valentines Day

It's Friday!!!  YEAH!!!  It has been a long couple of weeks at work and I can really use this weekend!  It is suppose to be cold here but no snow so that means I can actually get out of the house and have fun or stay in and make cards.  Either sounds good to me!

A couple of weeks ago I got picked as a top cards at Raise the Bar.    They invited me to be a Guest DT last week but I was too busy to make a card and they were nice enough to invite me to Guest DT this week.  The theme of the challenge this week is Valentines Day without using Red or Pink.   This opened up a world of possibilities.  I choose this great stamp by Mo Manning.  She is so cute with all the flowers.  I, of course, went with Blue and Purple as my color choices.   You should pull out your Valentine or Love stamps and pop over to Raise the Bar and play.

Animal Antics

Happy Tuesday?  I say that because we are getting more snow!  Luckily we are only getting 3-5 inches.  Enough to make everything really messy but not too much to shovel.

Since it is Tuesday it is time for our next Going Grey with Scrap Creations challenge.   We have not only a great theme but a wonderful sponsor.  The theme is Animal Antics and the sponsor is Robyn's Fetish stamps. When I saw this stamp that Robyn was kind enough to supply I thought of spring and I knew that was the stamp I was using.

Love is in the Little Things

 

Good Morning!!  How is your weekend going?  Mine I would say is good if for nothing else, NO SNOW!  I cannot believe how much snow we have had in MA over the last few weeks.  I am getting so tired of it.

 I am so ready for a few sunny days over the freezing mark so some of this will melt. 

I couldn't wait to play with the new Lily of the Valley stamps I bought.  I mounted them and then picked this one to make a card.  I had so much fun coloring this.  Isn't this image adorable?

Crazy for Challenges - Valentines Day - Feb 14th is right around the corner.  I love that this image says love without hearts.

Crafty Calendar- Love - Young love is so sweet and this card says young love.

Frosted Designs - Pink, Red, White - I love these colors together.  I thought they would be perfect for this image. 

If the Shoe Fits - Pink -  I love the pinks on this card.  I think it is a perfect base for Valentines day.

Mami Doodles - The magic of love - There is magic in love and that is why I love the saying on this.  The little things can say as much as the big things.

Valentines Day

Good Morning!  Hope all is going well where you are.  We are preparing for another big snowstorm.  I don't know where we are going to put all of the snow we have gotten over the last 2 weeks. 

Today we have a really fun challenge with Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.  It is a color challenge and the colors are Red, Black & White.  I chose to make a Valentines card.  We also have a great sponsor this week!  One Stop Crafts is offering the winner of this weeks challenge a $10.00 Gift Voucher!  I don't know about you but I love gift vouchers!!

Love is in the Air

Good Morning!  I hope everyone is having a good week.  We are expecting 10-15 inches of snow in the Northeast tonight into tomorrow.  Luckily most of the snow we got a couple of weeks ago has melted so it will be easier to shovel.  I like the change of seasons and the snow is really pretty when it is falling but it is a pain to clean up and drive in even once it has stopped. 

Today's theme for Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is Love is in the air.  I wanted to do something that wasn't a straight Valentines day card so I when I looked though my stamps I saw this Sugar Nellie and thought Love Letters.   You should join the fun!  Pull out those stamps that say Love to you and play with us!

Happy Birthday

I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year.  I had an early night by having Dinner and seeing a movie with my sister.  The weather here was beautiful.  It was in the 40's all weekend which is melting all the snow we got last week.   I decided to organize my DP (gulp) this weekend.  I kept tripping over it where I had it and I always reach for my 6 x 6 paper so I cut up alot of it into 6 x 6 sheets and put in with my other packs.  Now, of course, I need a new container of which Michaels is out of so a bunch is sitting in a pile when I get a new container.  I hope this works and I use alot of my older paper that I forgot I had.  This card is a perfect example.  This DP is some old SU that I had and love but never reach for because I have to dig for it my my 12 x 12.  I think it fits this card perfectly with the colors.
