Willy the Worm

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was quiet, which is exactly how I wanted it. I had a bunch of things to do around the house and I got 3 cards made!! I have not had a weekend where I could devote a few hours to stamping in a while and it was fun.

One of the things I did was to get some great free digi stamps from Victoria Case Designs. You really need to check her stamps out. She has some really cute images to buy. Isn't this one cute? He is called Willy the Worm. I decided that I had so much fun coloring him that I would join her sketch challenge.

After I had colored him, I sponged the background. I decided I didn't like that so I cut him out and popped him up on the card. I like it much better this way so I guess my bad decision turned into a good thing. The only deviation I did from the sketch was to layer him on an oval rather than a square. It just seemed to look better this way. I added some shimmerz to the leaves and flowers to give it a little pop.

I hope you like my card. Thanks for visiting.

CS: SU Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi
DP: Magenta (I think?)
STAMPS: VC Stamps, Clear Art Stamps
MISC: MM Brads, Shimmerz

This worm came out so adorable! The colors you chose to go with the colored image are perfect. I agree her digi stamps are wonderful. Your cutting looks great, much better than I do! Great job!
