Good Morning.

Is it Spring where you live?  It isn't here yet.  We are having below normal temps. Yesterday it snowed all day.   Today it is only suppose to be in the 40's.  I can't wait for warmer weather.

Even though Spring has not arrived yet I am in the Spring cardmaking kind of mood which is good because today's theme for Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is Spring is Sprung!!  Not only do we have a fun theme we have a great sponsor, One Card Crafts!   Check out the great cards made by the other DT's.  They will surely put you in the mood for Spring!  You can find their links on my sidebar.

Diva!

Happy Tuesday.  It is a nice day here in New England.  I hope it won't be long and I can shut off my heat and open my windows.  We had a few inches of rain late last week which melted alot of the snow which I was beginning to think would never leave.  We still have alot out there but nothing compared to a few weeks ago.

Today we have a really easy challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations.  It is Anything Goes!!!  There is no reason for you not to play especially because we have another wonderful sponsor this week, Stampotique!  They have a great range of stamps to choose from.  I thought this little "lady" was so cute!  She was alot of fun to color.  You really need to pop over and check them out.  You can get an idea of the range of stamps by checking out the other DT's wonderful creations.  You can find their links on my sidebar.

The other challenges my card fits are:

Dreaming.....

Good Morning.  I hope everyone had a nice weekend.  One of the things I did was to make this card.  I had this image colored and loved the way it came out.  I knew I had to make a card with it before it got mixed in with other things and ended up getting ruined.  I also wanted to use my new Prima paper.  It is so delicate and pretty.  It is definitely my kind of paper.  I wanted to create a really soft and girly card.  I hope you like how this came out as much as I do.

I would like to add to any followers or visitors today from Japan that my thoughts are with you.  I work for a Japanese company and my boss, his boss and some other friends were in Japan last week.  I work with alot of Japanese here and overseas.  My heart breaks when I see the images on TV.  Mother Nature can be cruel and I am sorry you are going through this.

The wonderful challenges this card fits are:

Lili of the Valley - Flowers - As you can see there are flowers everywhere on this card.

Little Claires - Flowers - I have flowers on my DP and around my image
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle - Spring has Sprung - It is wonderful when the snow melts off the swings and you can go out and enjoy the day.
Our Daily Bread - Leather or Pearls - I wanted a really soft feminine card so pearls were necessary IMHO
Our Craft Lounge - Bling - There are pearls, glitter and I added a couple of glitterly sprigs to the flowers.
Fairy Tale - Something for a child or an image of a child - These 2 kids swinging is just so adorable.  I loved coloring this image.
Crafty Ann's - Sketch and/or Spring - I choose Spring.  I think this image of the kids enjoying the swing is a great spring image.

Pals Paperarts - Inspiration - The picture for this was flowers and my card has alot of flowers on it.
Pixie - Thank you for Being You - Sending a card to a Friend wishing them a Day full of Happiness is a wonderful way of thanking them for being who they are.

Stamptacular - Great Sketch!  I cut a seperate piece of DP with the corner flowers so for my corners and I had to cut the rectangle because I couldn't fit my image on a circle but I thought this was a great sketch to use.
Catch the Bug - Scallops - I love my circle scallops because when you don't have alot of room you can twist them and still have 2 colors behind your saying or image.
I Did It - Masking - I masked the image to make my clouds on this card.
Ladybug Crafts - Spring Colors - I love the soft colors of this card.  It reminds me Spring is around the corner.

Thank you for visiting today.  I hope you like my card.  Thank you to everyone who leaves a comment.  I appreciate all of them.

Think Green!

Happy Tuesday!   For me it feels like it should be Wed or Thursday by now.  This means it is going to be a long week.

March means alot of things.  Hopefully it means Spring is around the corner,  Easter is coming and we Irish folk celebrate St. Patty's Day!  It has been years since I have actually celebrated it but still being Irish I do acknowledge it.  The theme this week for Going Grey with Scrap-Creations is Going Green.  You can interpret this any way you want but for me it says Happy St. Patty's Day.  We are lucky enough to have Digital Delights to sponsor us again so I got to use this adorable  little guy for my card.  Do you like my DP?  If you have not noticed Digital Delights is also making DP now!!!  How great is that?   I really liked this one with the shamrocks but they have some other great paper you can download and use!

You should check out the other DT's wonderful cards using the Digital Delights stamps.  They came out great!  You can find their links on my sidebar.
