Live the life......

Good Morning!  I hope everyone in the US is having a good long weekend.  The weather here is beautiful!  Today I am heading to Newburyport with 2 of my sisters and my niece.  Newburyport is a little town on the water and has alot of little shops.  It will be a fun day.

This week the theme of the challenge at Stempeltraume is to make a bookmark.  With school starting everywhere this is a great challenge idea!!   My bookmark is made to put the paper end on the page you are reading and then wrap the ribbon with the charm around the back of the page with the charm hanging down for weight.  Here is a closeup of the main part of the bookmark.

The other wonderful challenges this card fits are:

Crazy for Challenges - Bookmark - I have not made a bookmark in a long time.  It was alot of fun to make this one.

Totally Papercrafts - Charms - I have charms on both end of the bookmark to give it some weight.

The Res-Q - Use your scissors - I cut out the butterfly and popped it up to give the bookmark some dimension.

Digi Doodle's Shop Best - Write me a message - I love this saying and thought it would be nice for the bookmark.

Stamping B - Charm - I like the charms I used on this.  They are flat to make sure they don't mark the pages.

ABC Challenge - C=Charms - I love using charms.  They are a little thing that can add alot.

Stampavie & More - Anything but a Card - I believe you can never have too many bookmarks because I am always leaving them someplace.

Your Next Stamp Challenge - Anything Goes - I love these themes!!!

Sisterhood of Crafters - Anything but a Card - Bookmarks are fun and easy to make.  I'm glad to see this theme this week.
My Time to Craft - In the Garden. - My bookmark has flowers and a butterfly on it.  Two things you always see in gardens.

A Crafty Little Place - Anything Goes - Love these themes!!!  Thanks.
A Pocket Full of Posies - Winged Things - I love butterflies.  I didn't use enough of them this summer on my work.

One Stitch at a Time - Blooms-Butterflies-Bling - My bookmark has all 3 on it.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting me.  Thanks to everyone who leaves a comment.  I really love them.
Peggy
