Happy Birthday Bryan

This is the last Birthday card I need to make for about 6 weeks. This one is for my Nephew Bryan. I really wanted to make something different but I have so much trouble with cards for men.

I really like the colors I used for this. I wanted to put something in the pocket. I thought money would be good because that is what I always give him but the colors didn't match and, let's face it, it's all about the card looking good. I then put the paper in to look like a hankerchief but it looked too clean so I crumbled it up and then put it in again. I like the touch of red on the card.

I embossed the light blue to give it a little more texture and then put my corners on it to do something other than just brads. The layout was just a fluke. I put the card down and it wasn't taped yet. The bottom square moved and I like it so I kept it that way.

My next birthday card is for a good friend of mine. She will be much easier! Lot's of choices and you can always fill it up with flowers and bling!

I hope everyone is having a great week. It is so hot here but I shouldn't complain when the news is filled with storms.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you like my card.

Peggy

Great job on the male card, Peggy! It's funny, I think I do a better job on male and baby than I do on female! Love your hankerchief addition!

Your card came out wonderful! Bryan is going to love it. The hankerchief hanging out of the pocket all crumbled in a ball is just like Bryan. When those pants go in the wash the hankerchief will still be there in the pocket just like you have it in the card!
